The characteristics of all living organisms, including humans, are essentially determined by information contained within DNA that they inherit from their parents. The molecular structure of DNA can be imagined as a zipper with each tooth represented by one of four letters
The information contained in DNA is determined primarily by the sequence of letters along the zipper. For example, the sequence ACGCT represents different information than the sequence AGTCC in the same way that the word "POST" has a different meaning from "STOP" or "POTS," even though they use the same letters. The traits of a human being are the result of information contained in the DNA code. Living organisms that look different or have different characteristics also have different DNA sequences. The more varied the organisms, the more varied the DNA sequences.

LCS has been collecting DNA samples for Missouri state child support, prisons, institutions, hospitals, criminal cases and private attorneys. We have approximately 10 years experience (references upon request). Laboratory Collection Services, LLC. LCS will also collect for motherless, multiple alleged fathers and additional children.

A paternity test is a DNA test that determines whether a man could be the biological father of a child. We all inherit our DNA (the genetic material) from our biological parents. A paternity test compares a child’s DNA pattern with that of the alleged father to check for evidence of this inheritance—the most definitive proof of a biological relationship.

All labs use Buccall swabs, a painless procedure, which consists of rubbing or swabbing the inside of the mouth (cheek) with a cotton or sponge type swab. Facilities are located throughout the United States.

DNA or paternity testing can put to rest those doubts you may have had, or re-affirm your position with legally admissible evidence. Get the hard evidence you need. All products cleared by FDA & currently used by the parole and court systems.

The result of a paternity test is either an exclusion (the alleged father is not the biological father), or an inclusion (the alleged father is considered the biological father). For a standard paternity test, we guarantee at least 99.99% probability of paternity for inclusions or 100% certainty of exclusion.
